Vacation, a Time to Think about… Space.

I finally have some time off. Great, you think, time for some artistic endeavours. As usual this is wishful thinking. Nonetheless I have managed to start a painting from scratch.

I still feel very much like a starter who hasn’t touched a brush at all. I know the painting can be improved but at the moment I miss the skills to do so. It gives me the constant feeling that I should not show it to the public yet. I think that is one of the hardest things in art. Getting confident enough to show my work. Especially because some of my colleagues make much nicer things than I do.

I have painted a semi molten asteroid with smaller rocks around it. In hindsight I find it rather dark. I have to remind myself to use brighter colours. You can click on it to see the full image. I also have added it in my gallery for you to enjoy.
